Out of boredom, I hopped on EVE to check this channel out. No surprise, it's like DUST...
Dead.
There was 7 other people so I tried starting a bit of discussion but no one was interested. I didn't mind though as I am sure they were more interested in playing EVE which I myself do not care for.

I've seen more activity in the chat lately. Pretty entertaining. I think it is worth a join especially if you are just tinkering around in EVE like myself.

EVE is so weird.
I was ice mining the other day while working. During mining, a player in a Cynabal bumped all of the exhumers out of the belt. I had seen this before so I got my specially fitted Procurer and went back to mining. When he attempted to bump me, I commented "Strike 1!" and "Close but no cigar" in Local as he missed. Eventually he gave up bumping me but war dec'ed my corp. He then watched my Procurer mine for over an hour.  Turns out, he is the founder of a small corp of high sec mercs. With that, I made a couple more jokes at his and his corp's expense via a Mail.
Today, I got a reply. After reading it, I felt bad as he appeared to have taken my pretty mild remarks to heart so I sent him a Mail apologizing and saying it is a game after all. He replied back saying he blocked ME. 
How am I the bad guy in this situation?
Anyway, there's a bump for you, Viktor.

This chat channel is some of the reason I keep playing EVE. It is good to have live chat discussions on DUST/Nova while also talking a bit on EVE as well. The forum here is good for discussion also but I've yet to see walls of text in the chat channel that I've seen on here.

I am liking the chat. Fits, kills, and deaths are discussed. EVE is quite a bit different from DUST but chat at least feels somewhat the same. 
Oh, and bumpity.

Channel is still going although it has gotten a little less active lately most likely due to summer time.
